At Tiverton Steak House we pride ourselves with having fresh local produce, within the South West. With a few of our luxury meals you can have the pleasure of cooking your meat, just how you like it, in a warm ambient atmosphere, in the centre of a historic market town, Tiverton.

To name one, we have our fabulous T Bone Steak, that really is one of the “most mighty” of our dishes, in our steak section on our new menu.

Cooking this gorgeous thick tender piece of meat, is not only heart-warming, but sensory tingling good! Did you know that statistics show – a heightened sensory experience occurs when you cook your own food! And it’s certainly all about living in the moment, right?

Well this certainly does occur when the meat hits the piping hot lava stones, in our restaurant! Sizzling sensations can be heard and felt through the whole steakhouse.

Not only is the T Bone known for its large size but also itconsists of two of the most prized cuts of beef, the tenderloin and short loin. Knowing this, you have to take extra care when cooking this finest bit of meat.

The tenderloin cooks more quickly, than the short loin, also known as the New York Strip. So experts say you must keep the flame further away from the steak, to achieve your desired doneness of the meat, on both sides of the bone.
